 Michele Strasz is the Executive Director of the Capital Area College Access Network providing strategic leadership to the community collaborative dedicated to improving college attainment in the region. Ms. Strasz is a professional child advocate with 25 years’ experience in children’s public policy. She is recognized statewide for her expertise in community collaboration, grassroots mobilization, and youth and parent advocacy. Ms. Strasz is a veteran mom of two college age sons who have survived the college-going process.
The Capital Area College Access Network is community collaborative network dedicated to increasing college and career readiness, participation and completion among low-income, first generation college going students, and students of color.
Ms. Strasz will discuss the college achievement status of the community, share best practices in area high schools to promote college attainment, and strategies to promote a college-going culture.

Rodney Lamar Page began his violin studies at the age of 10. Upon high school graduation he was awarded a music scholarship to Michigan State University where he earned both a bachelor's and a master's degree in music education. During his collegiate career, Rodney also studied piano developing into an accomplished pianist. After graduating from college Mr. Page taught music in Michigan in the East Lansing Public School District and the St. Johns Public Schools District. Following his teaching career Mr. Page became a highly sought out music clinician throughout Michigan. Rodney currently resides in Lansing with his wife Kimberly and their two children.
