Volunteers Needed
Sparrow is moving their COVID Vaccine Clinic at Frandor indoors, effective April 5th. The former Sears auto-center drive-through will remain open for COVID testing and laboratory purposes. With the new indoor POD (point of distribution) Sparrow anticipates providing 2,000-3,000 vaccines per day to those 16 and older.

To operate both the indoor and outdoor aspects of the Frandor site takes a village and Sparrow is looking for volunteers who might like to help care for our community. Shifts are offered in 4-hour blocks, Monday-Saturday. To become a Sparrow Volunteer, visit https://volunteers.sparrow.org and select “Special Interest Application” from the APPLY option at the top of the page. Simply fill in “Lansing Rotary” where it asks for referral/contact. Completing this process also opens the door to volunteer in other roles across Sparrow in the future. Questions? Email volunteerservices@sparrow.org to learn more.
