Carmen Turner shared Dan Warmel's loss of his 33 year old daughter, Erin. What a tragedy. She then made us aware Terry Terry’s pisiform repair yesterday. He smiled while showing us the massive cast.

Our tables were laden with informative handouts: Jeff Dettloff’s contributed an explanation of “tips for Passwords security.” This, he explained, is “cyber security month” and Home Land Security would like us to pay attention especially since Russians dared to hack the Democratic Party emails. But first to Jamie Bennett who Julie Pingston, our chairwoman of the week and month, introduced with something close to a swoon. When he was done and the rest of the distaff Rotarians and others in lieu of questions had gone all gogga we could see why. Charming, witty, voluble and enthusiastic he held us all enthralled as he spun a tribute to arts and artists as being not only gifted but economically beneficial. Sort of job security for artists. Stable communities, social interaction and developmental enhancement, asset based, and politically necessary for city planning were only a few of the untapped benefits. Ballet and popsicles were all included and made to seem indispensable. No doubt the arts are a draw for consumers and deserve a budgeted line item were hard to argue against at his conclusion.
We thought that was the meeting until our esteemed brilliant President Davis, who mentioned in praise our current Editarian while he was hawking the video made of the “One Hundredth Anniversary” for $5. I expect it to go viral.
