If you watch WLNS at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. during the week, you'll find Audrey Dahlgren at the anchor desk. She is the sports director at Channel 6, as well as a Mid-Michigan native. Audrey grew up in Potterville, where she played basketball and ran cross country and track for the Vikings, before going on to study communications at Michigan State University. During college, Audrey cheered on Michigan State's co-ed cheerleading team, traveling to different stadiums and arenas, with a front row seat to the men's and women's sports at MSU.

She started working professionally in sports when she got her first job as the weekend sports anchor/reporter at the NBC/CBS affiliate in Fargo, North Dakota. Since then, her journey in TV has included stops at WLNS as a weekend sports anchor/reporter and KSDK (which is the NBC affiliate in St. Louis, Missouri) as a weekend sports anchor/reporter. Audrey also currently freelances for the Big Ten Network and used to have her own show and podcast on The Spotlight Radio Network in Lansing. She, along with the station, also teamed up with the Spartan Media Network and MSU Federal Credit Union to deliver a weekly MSU coaches show that is available to people throughout the state of Michigan. The show is hosted by Audrey and features exclusive access to Michigan State coaches and student-athletes.
