Chuck Lippstreu is president of the Michigan Agri-Business Association (MABA). He leads advocacy on a range of local, state, and federal issues affecting the Association’s members. Prior to his current position, Chuck served on the communications team at Land O’Lakes, Inc. Previously, he led communications for MABA and other Michigan agricultural organizations. From 2009-2014 Chuck served at USDA as speechwriting director for Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
In addition to leading MABA, Chuck serves on the Legislative Affairs Committee of the National Grain and Feed Association and the Board of Trustees of The Nature Conservancy in Michigan. Chuck is from Lincoln, Nebraska and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska.
Founded in 1903 as the Michigan Grain Dealers Association, the Michigan Agri-Business Association (MABA) is committed to the development and prosperity of Michigan agriculture. These include ag retailers who provide seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products to farmers; grain handlers; feed suppliers; truck and rail transportation; utility services, law and accounting firms and insurance providers. MABA is involved in a wide range of issues affecting the future of agriculture and rural Michigan.
