Edward was born October 20, 1931 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. "Ed" was the Administrator of the Eaton Rapids Community Hospital from April 1957 until 1961 when he accepted the position of Administrator and later President of Ingham Medical Center in Lansing, a position he held until his retirement in 1995. Ed was a life member, past trustee and executive committee member of the Michigan Health and Hospital Association (MHA). He joined Rotary in 1980 with Claud Erickson as his sponsor, serving as President in 1998.A well known figure in the Eaton and Ingham county areas having served on the Eaton Rapids School Board, Lay Leader of the First United Methodist Church of Eaton Rapids for over forty years. A past trustee of Blue Cross and Blue Shield, a Hospital consultant and a recipient of numerous awards and achievements during his professional career in Michigan.
