Jonathan Gusmano is the Program Director for the Computer Information Technologies (CIT) department at LCC. He oversees the CIT division, which offers a range of technical programs designed to prepare students for careers in computing, networking, cybersecurity, progamming, geospatial science, and related fields.
As program director, Gusmano is responsible for leading the CIT department's academic and operational functions, including curriculum development, faculty coordination, and ensuring that programs meet industry standards and student needs. He also represents the department in college governance and to the Board of Trustees, where he has reported on program growth and innovations.
Jonathan will bring SNOOP DOGG - Snoop is a high-tech, quadruped robot dog used for educational purposes at Lansing Community College's West Campus. Officially known as the Security Networking and Operations Observational Platform and Drone-Operated Ground Guard (S.N.O.O.P. DOGG), it is part of the college's Unmanned Autonomous Systems (UAS) training.
