Rich Howard grew up in the Lansing region. He has been married to his wife of 35 years, Peg. Together they have three grown children who grace the public education sector as teachers. He is a proud graduate of Lansing Community College and Michigan State University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a Master’s degree in Counseling. Rich has split his career between higher education and the nonprofit sector. This experience allows for a unique perspective on a multitude of issues, just ask him! He currently serves as an associate state director for Outreach at AARP Michigan.
