Summer Issawi was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area and has lived in Mid-Michigan for over 15 years. She is the president of the Lansing chapter of Woman's Life, a national service organization.
She earned her master's degree from U of M Dearborn and spent her entire career in education, learning, and development. She's a senior instructional designer at MSU Federal Credit Union and lives in Mason with her spouse and 3 boys. She will be sharing information on the traditions of Ramadan.
