Please help find a host family for one of the three students listed below. This placement would be for the 2025-26 school year. It is urgent that we find placements by May 15, 2025, to ensure that all the paperwork is completed, so students are able to acquire the J-1 VISA for their secondary school educational exchange.
Host families do NOT need to be Rotarians. See attached information on Requirements to be a Host Family at the bottom of the Rotogram.
Students arrive in August, about one week before school starts, and stay the full academic year. The Rotary program places students in homes for one semester only, and moves the student to another host family for the second semester and with the same school district. This allows the exchange student to experience different family lifestyles. If you know a family willing to host one of these students and/or for more information, please contact Margie Haas, Rotary Youth Exchange chairperson. Contact: haasmargie@gmail.com; cell: 269-838-3392.
