The photo below is a thank you to the Rotary Club of Lansing from the children in Ciudad Vieja, Guatemala for sponsoring a dental clinic through Global Dental Relief. The International Committee recommended a grant from the Foundation which provided dental care to 847 children from November 26 to December 3, 2021. Cleanings, extractions, fluoride treatment and sealants with a US equivalent value of $200,616 were provided by 5 dentists, 6 dental assistants, and 3 general volunteers. The children also received oral health lessons and toothbrushes. Our grant provides the necessary supplies. The dentists and staff of the clinic volunteer their time.
