Call for Nominations to Serve as District Governor during Rotary Year 2027-2028.

 

The window to submit nominations to serve as District Governor for Rotary District 6360 in 2027-2028 is now open. Nominations must be submitted no later than November 30 for interviews taking place in December 2024 on a date to be announced. The person selected will become District Governor Nominee on July 1, 2025 when a two-year period of training will begin prior to becoming Governor.

Lansing Rotary had another field trip this Friday and this week it was to the Lansing Area's Crown Jewel, the Wharton Center! Club members were treated to a tour of Wharton by Eric Olmscheid. Through Eric, our area has a voice (a vote) for the Tony Awards. Eric sees about 43 shows a year in New York. Based on that and his experience, he and his crew at the Wharton Center decide what shows will come to the Wharton Center.

 

This is no small task given the breadth of discerning tastes in our community and what showbiz has to offer. It was a great tour and yet another great example Rotary on the road and having fun in our community. Email for Kevin:  schumacher@glassenrhead.com
