Dr. Jennifer Marcy is the Director of the Nonprofit Leadership, Global Cultures, and Social Enterprise Online M.A. and Graduate Certificate Programs at Michigan State University. She is a scholar-practitioner with 20 years of experience working in the nonprofit and higher education sectors. Dr. Marcy has engaged with domestic and international nonprofit organizations, government institutions, and civil society organizations helping to create resilient and inclusive communities.She has designed and managed complex multimillion-dollar economic development, food policy, agricultural research, and higher education capacity development programming. Dr. Marcy’s international work experience spans Africa, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Latin America. She holds a Ph.D. in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong education from Michigan State University.
